Thanks for your comment. I agree evergreen content is valuable for SEO and adds value to your site in general. It helps you become a resource in your area of expertise and keeps people coming back to your site to use that article again and again.

Keep it up!

I wish I knew what evergreen content was when i started DNN. I was under the assumption back then that all you had to do was write a few sentences and focus on publishing as many times a day you can so you can build fast inbound links from social networks your content is shared on. Boy was I wrong.

After learning what evergreen content was and applying that approach to today’s mindset I have toward long-term content marketing, I find my SEO has drastically improved. Most importantly, I also take time to build sustainable relationships with other bloggers by leaving meaningful blog comments, asking questions, and engaging with other readers. There are lazy days when I do create content but don’t want to completely go into evergreen content marketing mode, so I typically strive to stick to publishing 1,000 words or close to it. I know now that Bing.com, Google.com, and YaHoO.com quietly give preference to blogs and websites that have more evergreen published pages and lengthy in detailed content. So that’s pretty much what I’m striving to achieve long-term content marketing wise.

Thank you for posting a thought-provoking post on SEO copywriting call to action headlines. 🙂
